Sonet is a commercial Internet provider born with the transformation of the Internet program of Foundation Open Society - Macedonia. The Internet program had operated till 1995 as a non-profit Internet service provider (ISP), provided Internet connection for the non governmental organisations, high schools, hospitals, libraries, museums and individual users.
